When building a website there are two things that are involved: designing and development. These are two different elements of building a website but one cannot do without the other. Simply put, developing a website refers to the coding and programming of it - the skeleton. But design involves the look and creatives on the website. The latter is more client focussed and places importance on the user experience. Though the functions of both these roles depend on one another their skill-set is entirely different. Often the web developer’s job is to bring to life the visions of the web designer. With a web-developer, there are three kinds: back-end, front-end, and full-stack. A back-end designer is one who develops the code and the language of the website. The front-end developer takes care of what the user can see and a full-stack developer is one who can do both.
